During the 2018-2023 term, the Trade Union of Truong Son Branch 97 did a good job of advising the Party Committee and Board of Directors in leading and directing practical and effective trade union activities.

Union members are always exemplary in implementing resolutions of the Party Committee, Party cell and political tasks of the agency and unit. The grassroots union of Truong Son Branch 97 was awarded the title "Grassroots union with excellent performance" by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and Army Corps 12 for 3 consecutive years and many individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Representatives of the Party Committee and Command of the 12th Army Corps congratulated the congress.

In particular, the Trade Union of Truong Son Branch 97 has performed well its tasks of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members, civil servants, and defense workers; advised and proposed to all levels to support the construction of 2 "Gratitude" houses, 3 "Comrade" houses worth 240 million VND, contributed more than 700 million VND to build comrade houses in Military Region 1, participated in epidemic prevention and control at military bases, and supported localities in epidemic prevention and control with nearly 100 million VND...

Based on the results achieved, the Congress of the Trade Union of Truong Son Branch 97 discussed and voted to approve the direction and tasks for the 2023-2028 term. Accordingly, the trade union will focus on implementing the core task of caring for and implementing policies for union members in difficult circumstances; protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members; implementing emulation movements of the union in conjunction with the Emulation Movement for Victory of the Branch and the Army Corps.
