Army Corps 12 owns a job fund of up to 30,000 billion VND

This afternoon (August 23), Corps 12 - Truong Son Construction Corporation organized the Emulation Congress for Victory for the period 2019-2024.

Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, spoke at the Emulation Congress for Victory of the 12th Army Corps.

Congratulating and praising the achievements of the 12th Corps, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, said that despite many difficulties and challenges, the 12th Corps has strived and implemented many synchronous solutions, improved competitiveness, and expanded its business lines. In particular, building infrastructure and transportation is the center.

"The image of cadres, soldiers, workers, and laborers "overcoming the sun and rain, passionately and responsibly" on the construction projects of the Corps increasingly enhances the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in performing their labor and production functions, and is recognized and highly appreciated by the leaders of the Party, State, ministries, branches, and localities," said Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh.

In order for the Corps' emulation movement to continue to develop strongly, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh suggested that agencies and units need to continue to thoroughly grasp President Ho Chi Minh's patriotic emulation ideology, the Party's viewpoints and guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and resolutions and directives of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on emulation and rewards.

"Promoting the tradition of the heroic Truong Son Army, Corps 12 needs to continue to innovate the content, form, and methods of organizing emulation in accordance with the characteristics of production and business units and the implementation of national defense tasks; Focus on building a clean and strong Corps Party Committee, performing well in mass mobilization work, policy work, and social security", the Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army requested.

Major General Nguyen Huu Ngoc, Commander of Army Corps 12, presented the Emulation Flag to two groups with outstanding achievements.

Previously, providing information on the results of the emulation movement "Determined to Win" in the 2019-2024 period, Major General Nguyen Huu Ngoc, Commander of the 12th Corps and General Director of Truong Son Construction Corporation, said that in implementing the emulation movement "Determined to Win", over the past 5 years, the Corps has made remarkable progress.

Mission, organization, and staffing have been expanded, production scale has grown continuously; reputation and brand in the field of basic construction have been affirmed on many key projects of the country.

"Over the past 5 years, the Corps has won bids and been assigned to hundreds of projects. To date, the Corps' employment fund has over 30,000 billion VND, enough jobs for 2025 and for the following years.

The large number of jobs has made the Corporation one of the leading, large-scale enterprises in the construction industry. On construction sites from North to South, from lowlands to highlands, from highlands to islands, everywhere there are footprints of Truong Son soldiers and workers", Major General Nguyen Huu Ngoc shared.

Leaders of Army Corps 12 awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals who are typical examples in the emulation movement "Determination to Win" for the period 2019-2024.

Also according to the Commander of the 12th Corps, in recent years, the emulation movement "Determined to Win" and the unit's emulation campaigns have had many innovations, becoming more substantial and effective. They have focused on key points, towards the base, stuck to the construction site, made breakthroughs in weak and difficult stages, and encouraged the spirit of enthusiastic emulation.

From the Corps to the units, we always thoroughly understand the Prime Minister's viewpoint: "Ideology must be clear, determination must be high, efforts must be great, actions must be drastic and effective", "Only discuss doing, not retreating", "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain", "3 shifts, 4 teams"... to bring each bid package to the finish line on schedule.

The emulation movement "Promoting initiatives and technical improvements", applying advanced science and technology to production has been promoted such as: large span prestressed beam construction technology, balanced cantilever technology in bridge construction; urban tunnel construction technology; mastering the technology of cement concrete construction equipment grade 350 with zero slump in airport projects... contributing to improving productivity, progress and quality in production and business.

At the Victory Emulation Congress, the Commander of the 12th Corps decided to award the Corps' Emulation Flag to 2 groups, and Certificates of Merit to 8 groups and 68 individuals who are typical examples of progress in the period 2019-2024.
