Billionaire Elon Musk toured the site of a Hamas attack on Israel on Monday and pledged to do whatever it takes to stop the spread of hatred.
“We invited him to visit Gaza to see the extent of the massacre and destruction against the people of Gaza,” senior Hamas commander Osama Hamdan said at a press conference in Beirut.

Osama Hamdan's comments came a day after a temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was extended for another 48 hours.
“In 50 days, Israel has dropped more than 40,000 tons of explosives on the homes of defenseless Gazans,” he said. “I call on President Biden to reconsider America’s relationship with Israel and stop arming them.”
Speaking about the devastation in Gaza since the conflict began on October 7, Hamdan called on the international community to quickly send specialized rescue teams to help search for bodies trapped under the rubble. Thousands of people are still trapped, according to the Palestinian Foreign Ministry.
The ceasefire agreed last week was the first halt in fighting in seven weeks since Hamas attacked Israel, killing 1,200 people and taking about 240 hostages.
In response to that attack, Israel bombarded Gaza and launched a ground offensive in the north of the enclave. Palestinian health officials say at least 16,000 Palestinians have been killed and millions have been forced to flee their homes.
