(NLDO) - Departments, branches and localities urgently consult on the Project to establish, reorganize and dissolve administrative organizations and public service units, and submit it to Ho Chi Minh City before March 28.
On March 18, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc issued urgent instructions on continuing to reorganize the apparatus of agencies and units under specialized agencies, administrative agencies and public service units under the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
This directive is sent to Heads of specialized agencies, administrative agencies and public service units of the city; Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns and Thu Duc City.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the heads of departments, branches, and sectors; People's Committees of districts, towns, and Thu Duc City, on the basis of Decision 645/2025 of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, to urgently advise on the Project to establish, reorganize, and dissolve administrative organizations and public service units belonging to and directly under departments, branches, Thu Duc City People's Committee, and District People's Committees.
The dossier must be sent to the Department of Home Affairs before March 28 for appraisal and submission to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for consideration and decision. The dossier includes: Submission, Project (the content must comply with the provisions of Decree 158/2018 of the Government regulating the establishment, reorganization, and dissolution of administrative organizations and Decree 120/2020 of the Government regulating the establishment, reorganization, and dissolution of public service units); Draft Decision of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
On the basis of the Regulations on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of agencies and units, promptly promulgate regulations on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of administrative organizations, public service units belonging to and directly under departments, branches, Thu Duc City People's Committee and districts according to the correct authority or advise and submit to competent authorities for promulgation according to regulations.
The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also requested the heads of departments, branches, and sectors; People's Committees of districts, towns, and Thu Duc City to urgently review and advise the People's Committee to issue or submit to competent authorities to issue documents to abolish normative documents and administrative documents that are no longer in accordance with legal regulations in the assigned sectors and fields, ensuring compliance with the authority, form, order, and procedures as prescribed.
