On the afternoon of May 13, at the Presidential Palace, President Vo Van Thuong met with 133 typical groups and individuals (58 groups and 75 individuals) who are advanced in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in all levels of Trade Unions, civil servants, public employees and workers.

Also attending were Party Central Committee members: Le Khanh Hai, Head of the Office of the President; Nguyen Dinh Khang, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The 133 individuals and groups at the meeting were typical examples of participating in a series of activities to review the 2-year work and commend advanced models that have successfully implemented Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05 on Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in all levels of Trade Unions, civil servants, public employees and workers, organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on May 13 and 14 in Hanoi.
Reporting at the meeting, the representative of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor said that over the past 2 years, trade unions at all levels have seriously organized and implemented the study of the implementation of Conclusion No. 01. Thanks to that, the labor emulation movements of trade unions have achieved outstanding results in disease prevention and control and economic and social recovery and development. In addition, trade unions at all levels have researched and promptly issued many policies to support workers in difficult circumstances.
From the above activities and movements, many examples of individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in studying and following the moral example and style of President Ho Chi Minh have emerged. The 133 delegates present at the meeting with the President are the most typical examples selected from a large number of examples nationwide.
Speaking at the reception, representatives of the typical examples affirmed the importance and great significance of widely implementing the study and following of the example and style of President Ho Chi Minh. Through studying, each worker has more spirit and determination to overcome difficulties in life; each union official enhances the spirit of solidarity, strives to think and find effective methods of operation to take care of workers together...
After listening to the delegates' opinions, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Vo Van Thuong expressed his joy at welcoming 133 individuals and collective representatives in the workforce, civil servants and laborers who are typical examples selected from millions of examples, typical in studying and following Uncle Ho.
The President stated: In the past time, our country has encountered many difficulties and challenges from both outside and inside, but with the great efforts of the entire Party, people and army, our country has overcome difficulties and achieved many important and comprehensive results in all fields, including the very positive contributions of trade unions and workers at all levels. Among them, the delegates at the meeting are worthy examples to be honored, to be praised and to be spread.
Comrade Vo Van Thuong highly appreciated the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and trade unions at all levels for actively disseminating and organizing the implementation of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, which has gradually become a routine task for grassroots trade union organizations, trade union members and workers nationwide.
The President requested the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and trade unions at all levels to continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's Resolutions and implement the Politburo's Resolution on innovation of organization and operation of trade unions at all levels; constantly develop trade union organizations and the working class to meet the requirements of the new situation; contribute to perfecting mechanisms and policies for developing a workforce with high skills and expertise to meet the requirements of the country's industrialization and modernization in the new period. Continue to have new and effective forms of caring for the spiritual and material lives of trade union members and workers...
The President expressed his hope to welcome, meet and commend more outstanding collectives and individuals in the coming years to promptly encourage the valuable contributions of workers to the country's socio-economic development.
