After this unimpressive performance, the team under coach Troussier received many complaints from Southeast Asian football fans.
Some even say that the Vietnamese team will not be able to regain its strength under Park Hang-seo.

Sharing the same opinion, a Malaysian fan commented that the team under coach Troussier is playing quite disjointedly and ineffectively.
