Among the 20 outstanding young people this year, there are brave individuals who sacrificed themselves to save others, such as: Hoang Anh Tuan (Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh province) and Dong Van Tuan (Truc Ninh district, Nam Dinh province) who bravely saved people in a fire at a house in lane 43 Trung Kinh (Cau Giay, Hanoi).

Besides, there are other typical examples such as football player Nguyen Tien Linh (Becamex Binh Duong Football Club) who has won many individual titles. Tien Linh also initiated and organized volunteer and social security activities; proactively sought out and supported volunteer groups and people in difficult circumstances.

Tien Linh organized a charity football match to raise funds for the Binh Duong Red Cross Society, raising VND8.8 billion, auctioning footballs and jerseys for VND730 million. The total amount of VND9.5 billion donated was given to the Binh Duong Red Cross Society to carry out charity projects.

Or Mr. Ma Seo Chu, who was the village chief when he was very young in Kho Vang village, Coc Lau commune, Bac Ha district, Lao Cai province.
