Co-organizing and supporting units in Da Nang City include the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association of Da Nang City, Dong A University, Selfwing V-Kids School, and Sakura Japanese Language School Da Nang.
This is the first time that Vietnamese diplomats who have worked in Japan have returned to Vietnam, collaborating with famous artists and businessmen from both countries and domestic universities to organize a cultural exchange event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations.
Taking place on the afternoon of September 30, the program began with the talk show 'Sweet Memories' about the friendship between the two countries, with the participation of "insiders" such as Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Consul General of Japan in Da Nang City Yakabe Yoshinori.

The program was followed by special performances by Meritorious Artist Le Giang, two internationally famous Japanese pianists Toshiki Usui and Keiko Borjeson, Akari Nakatani - who played the role of the Japanese muse of musician Trinh Cong Son in the film 'You and Trinh' and Thuy Van, 3rd runner-up of the 2015 Miss International Contest in Tokyo. Notably, the song Little Bird with lyrics translated from Japanese to English by Japanese Empress Michiko was performed by artist Toshiki Usui and Ambassador Hoang Thi Minh Ha. Here, the performance of Ao Dai Ngan An combined with Kimono made an impression in the miniature scene of the Vietnam-Japan wedding. The umbrella dance, Yosakoi dance and the chorus Vietnam in me performed by Ambassador Hoang Thi Minh Ha and students were like a breath of youth, opening up a bright future for cooperation between the two countries. Ms. Yasuyo Satou - representative of an international exchange organization from Tokyo, was moved to say: 'This is the first time I have attended such a wonderful cultural exchange event. Beautiful, unique and meaningful". In an interview about the event, Japanese Consul General in Da Nang City Yakabe Yoshinori shared: "The organizing committee, especially the Vietnamese Embassy's Spouses Association in Tokyo for the 2015-2018 term, introduced the cultural characteristics of both countries in a profound and meaningful way".Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori emphasized that he personally experienced and learned a lot when attending the event.
