Dubbed the Private Jet Villa, the cockpit cabin has been replaced with a brand new luxury interior, including a bedroom with a Jacuzzi.
The Private Jet Villa was designed by Geometrium Studio and is located in a stunning location 150m above sea level, atop the cliffs of Nyang Nyang Beach in Bali, Indonesia. The plane had previously been used across Indonesia and after being decommissioned, it was moved to the challenging location by truck and crane before being professionally renovated on site, according to New Atlas .
Transforming the former Boeing 737 into a luxurious residence was difficult, not only because of its cliffside location but also because of the lack of space and awkward dimensions inside. To address this, Geometrium Studio installed a new ducted air conditioning and ventilation system, and hid the electrical and water supply in the cargo hold. All the furniture had to be custom-designed to fit the curved walls of the space, and the team aimed to minimize the limited space with light tones, concrete textures and natural wood.

The interior décor subtly incorporates rounded shapes throughout, echoing the tube shape of the fuselage, including the bathrooms and some of the smaller interior accents. Mirrors were installed to create the illusion of more space and natural light was maximized, both through the use of original windows and some new additions.
Guests arrive by road or use the nearby helipad and are entered via a floating staircase that connects to a large communal kitchen, living room and dining room in the centre. This in turn connects to the two wings of the plane, which have terraces offering great views of the landscape, with one of the wings jutting out significantly over the cliff.
The central area connects to two bedrooms. The first bedroom is located in what used to be the cockpit. It has a Jacuzzi tub and double bed, as well as a private bathroom. In the stern is another bedroom, also with a private bathroom.
The original aircraft doors are also kept neat and tidy, opening from the bedroom to small screened areas for reading and relaxing while taking in the view. Elsewhere, on the ground next to the plane, is a cantilevered swimming pool.
