Kinhtedothi - The Tay Thien Spring Festival of At Ty 2025 will be held from February 15-17 (lunar calendar) at the Tay Thien scenic relic site, Dai Dinh town, Tam Dao district, Vinh Phuc province.
Ready for Tay Thien Festival 2025
Talking to reporters of Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper, Mr. Do Hoang Duong, Head of Tourism Management Department, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Phuc, said that up to now, relevant units have completed preparations for the Tay Thien Xuan At Ty Festival 2025.
As planned, the festival will take place from March 14 to 16 (February 15 to 17 of the lunar calendar) at Tay Thien Scenic Area, Dai Dinh Town, Tam Dao District with 2 parts: ceremony and festival.
“The ceremony includes rituals: the announcement ceremony, the palanquin procession, the incense offering ceremony at Thong Temple (Trinh Temple), Thuong Pagoda, Thuong Temple and the thanksgiving ceremony. The festival takes place with many cultural and artistic activities and sports competitions including: art performances by artists from Vinh Phuc Provincial Art Theater; singing and chanting festivals; art exchanges and traditional Ao Dai performances; cycling races, volleyball tournaments.
In addition, there are other activities such as tug of war, chess competitions; banh chung, banh day, banh gio making competitions; youth camps; trade and tourism fairs displaying booths introducing and promoting OCOP products typical of ethnic minorities in Tam Dao district, Vinh Phuc province..." - Mr. Do Hoang Duong said.
Currently, the closer to the opening time of the festival, the more tourists flock to Tay Thien Scenic Area to enjoy the spring scenery, averaging up to tens of thousands of tourists per day.
The Organizing Committee has arranged a system of signs, panels, posters... along the main road, the path leading to the festival center, spiritual sites; renovated the lighting system, trees; replaced new signs, notice boards of regulations, warning signs, banning street vendors... to create the most favorable conditions for people and tourists.
Ensure absolute safety for the festival
In order to ensure absolute safety for tourists, Vinh Phuc Provincial Police have established a working group to implement plans and tasks to ensure security and order directly at Tay Thien Scenic Area.
The functional forces on duty will coordinate to inspect and handle organizations and individuals trading in fraudulent, counterfeit and poor quality goods during the festival season, and check food hygiene and safety at temples, restaurants and food service points in the festival area.
Organize patrol forces to prevent and eradicate social evils such as: coin flipping, gambling, beggars, and acts of fraud, theft, disorder, and superstition in the area. Arrange forces, equipment, and fire prevention and fighting means at relics and festival areas.
The Organizing Committee also requires individuals and service businesses to arrange their sales areas neatly and tidily, maintain public hygiene; publicly and transparently disclose service prices: food, accommodation, parking tickets according to regulations; do not solicit or "rip off" service prices.
Tay Thien Spring Festival At Ty 2025 aims to educate the tradition and morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the Vietnamese people in Vinh Phuc homeland; arouse the strength of great national unity towards the origin; affirm the determination to preserve, conserve and promote the values of traditional cultural heritage imbued with national identity, cultural identity of Tam Dao mountain area.
Tay Thien Festival also has the meaning of introducing to tourists from all over the world the cultural values of the Tay Thien Mother Goddess worship associated with the Tay Thien National Special Relic Site and scenic spot. Thereby, continuing to encourage all classes of people to join hands to build and embellish the Tay Thien Relic Site and scenic spot to become a tourist area with both profound spiritual significance and a key economic and tourism development area of Vinh Phuc province.
