According to the Swiss Embassy in Vietnam, the performance is part of the two artists' tour in Hong Kong, Macao (China), Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos. In Hanoi, singer Sophie de Quay and her husband and co-performer Simon Jaccard will bring vibrant pop melodies and emotional lyrics on a musical journey connecting cultures.

During their stop in Hanoi, the two artists will have activities including: Workshop with students of the Vietnam National Academy of Music on March 27; performing at the Opening Ceremony of the Festival of France and the Francophone Community (Balade en France et en Francophonie) at Thong Nhat Park, Tran Nhan Tong, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi on March 28; participating in a special music program "Connecting Bridge" exclusively for Hanoi audiences, within the framework of the Festival of France and the Francophone Community (Balade en France et en Francophonie) on March 29.

Sophie de Quay has loved writing and music since childhood. After graduating with a BA in literature with distinction, Sophie de Quay studied professional vocal music at ATLA in Paris and continued her studies in Chinese at the University of Geneva. During this time, she began recording her first compositions at One Music Studio, collaborating with Christophe Duc and John Woolloff. In 2016, a turning point in her career came when Sophie de Quay and Simon Jaccard formed the group Sophie de Quay, combining pop, electro and world music.
Simon Jaccard graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Lausanne School of Music (HEMU), majoring in Jazz, in 2014, at the age of 20. In the Sophie de Quay band, Simon Jaccard is the composer, arranger, music director and producer. With 1 EP (mini album), 1 album, 5 tours, over 250 concerts and many collaborations with other artists, the duo from Geneva have traveled the world, constantly seeking new experiences and sharing their music with a wide audience.
