Ministry of Industry and Trade appoints leaders of Departments and Divisions

Specifically, receiving Mr. Phan Van Ban - Member of the Party Executive Committee, former Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade, term IV, 2023-2028, transferred to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to join the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term 2020-2025; At the same time, transferring Mr. Le An Hai - former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term 2020-2025 to take up the job and hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade, term IV, 2023-2028;

In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade also "reshuffled" the duties of a series of Departments and Division Heads. Specifically, Mr. Trinh Anh Tuan - Director of the Department of Trade Remedies, Member of the National Competition Commission, holds the position of Chairman of the National Competition Commission; Mr. Luong Hoang Thai - Director of the Department of Multilateral Trade Policy takes the position of Director of the Department of Trade Remedies; Mr. Le Trieu Dung - Chairman of the National Competition Commission takes the position of Director of the Department of Multilateral Trade Policy.

Speaking at the conference, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien emphasized that the leaders of the Departments, Divisions, Committees... who were transferred, arranged, and assigned new jobs were all people with a history of dedication and a history of holding the position of chief. However, in the current context, it is necessary to arrange and rearrange to both conform to the spirit of streamlining the apparatus and comply with regulations, the person holding the position of chief cannot serve more than 2 terms.
