Binh Thuan participates in the 2023 Ho Chi Minh City Open Traditional Boat Racing Championship

BTO-The Ho Chi Minh City Traditional Boat Racing Championship will take place tomorrow morning (August 5) at Pier No. 4 (Thu Ngu Flagpole), District 1 (HCMC). Accordingly, Binh Thuan will participate in this tournament with 24 other units.

Binh Thuan has just successfully organized the National Traditional Boat Racing Championship at Bau Trang.

The tournament is organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City , to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2023) and the 78th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023) .

The teams will compete in 6 A-class events : Men 's 10-rower boat; Men's 20-rower boat; Mixed 20-rower boat. B-class events include Men's 10-rower boat ; Men's 20-rower boat ; Mixed 20-rower boat. Competition distance: 500 meters starting in line.

In addition to the Ho Chi Minh City Traditional Boat Racing Championship , this occasion is also combined with the 1st Ho Chi Minh City River Festival in 2023 , contributing to the development of typical tourism products in Ho Chi Minh City, diversifying events, such as water sports performances , Sailing boat performances , jet-board flying performances, Flyboard, high -altitude paragliding art lighting performances , traditional boat racing performances from professional athletes ; Canoe performances, organizing SUP interactive rowing activities... to serve people and tourists. Through experiential activities on rivers , promote widespread propaganda in the community to join hands to protect the environment of canals and rivers in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to building the image of Ho Chi Minh City as a destination "Attractive - Vibrant - Modern".
