Binh Duong supports Nghe An and Bac Lieu with 90 billion VND to eliminate "temporary and dilapidated houses"

(NLDO) - In addition to implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for people in the province, Binh Duong is also assigned the task of supporting Nghe An and Bac Lieu.

On March 25, all 9 districts and cities in Binh Duong province simultaneously held groundbreaking ceremonies to build houses for poor households facing housing difficulties.

According to the plan, the support level for each household is 100 million VND for the case of building new houses. For the case of building on weak ground, the maximum additional support level is not more than 20 million VND/household. In the case of renovating and repairing houses, the maximum support level is 50 million VND/household.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Gai's family was supported with 100 million VND to build a new house with an area of ​​over 47 square meters.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the house construction and presenting many gifts to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Gai - a near-poor household with especially difficult circumstances in Bau Cam hamlet, An Long commune, Phu Giao district, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, affirmed that the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Central Government is one of the major policies of the Party, with profound humanitarian significance.

The program's goal is to help poor and near-poor households settle down, stabilize their lives, work and produce with peace of mind, and gradually escape poverty sustainably.

According to Mr. Loi, Binh Duong province requires relevant units to strive to basically complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province before June 30, 2025.

In addition to supporting the construction and repair of houses for people in the province, Binh Duong is also assigned to support Nghe An and Bac Lieu provinces in implementing a program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with a total budget of 90 billion VND.

Binh Duong provides financial support for households in Ca Mau to build and repair houses.

Recently, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee has also mobilized a number of benefactors to contribute and support funding to build and repair houses for poor households in Dam Doi District, Ca Mau Province. The house selected for this construction is for the family of Mr. Ngo Diep Van Quoc, a near-poor household in Trung Can Hamlet, Tan Trung Commune, Dam Doi District. The total area of ​​the house is 100 m2; the total construction cost is 60 million VND, which was mobilized by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee from a number of benefactors.
