Provincial Party Standing Committee deploys key tasks for the second quarter

(Quang Binh Portal) - On the afternoon of March 25, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held the 79th conference to give opinions on the socio-economic situation, Party building work in the first quarter, key tasks in the second quarter and some other important contents. Comrade Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference. Attending were comrade Tran Hai Chau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; representatives of the leaders of the Local Department of the Party Committees in Da Nang and related departments, branches and sectors.

According to the report at the conference, the socio-economic situation in the first quarter of 2025 of the province achieved good results: Estimated GRDP increased by 7.84% over the same period last year; total state budget revenue is estimated at nearly 1,940 billion VND, up nearly 40% over the same period, reaching nearly 30% of the central budget estimate and 28% of the local budget estimate; tourists to Quang Binh are estimated at more than 1 million arrivals, up 4.5% over the same period... As of March 8, 2025, 908/1,553 temporary houses and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households have started construction, reaching 58.4%...

The work of preparing and organizing Party Congresses at all levels has been carried out seriously. By March 7, 2025, 15 grassroots Party Committees had organized model Congresses. In the first quarter, the entire Provincial Party Committee admitted 142 new Party members; officially transferred 163 comrades to the Party; awarded Party badges in the 3/2 phase to 1,220 Party members...

Regarding the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee, after the reorganization, the whole province has ended the activities of 06 Party delegations, 03 Party executive committees, 02 Party committees under the Provincial Party Committee; reduced 08 departments, branches, 02 provincial-level public service units, 24 district-level specialized departments and offices, and 28 internal organizations.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and analyzing existing problems and limitations and proposing solutions for socio-economic development in the coming time; Party building work; disbursement of public investment capital; implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo...

Speaking at the conference, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged the delegates' discussion opinions; at the same time, emphasized 08 key groups of tasks that need to be implemented in the second quarter of 2025, focusing on: Synchronously and drastically deploying tasks and solutions to promote economic growth, ensuring the target of GRDP of 8% or more; effectively implementing the work of arranging and streamlining the political system apparatus, especially merging commune-level administrative units and building a two-level local government organization associated with the provincial merger roadmap; focusing on quickly stabilizing the operations of agencies and units after the arrangement, ensuring smoothness, efficiency, and good promotion of functions and tasks; continuing to lead and direct the organization of Party Congresses at all levels to ensure progress and quality; promoting comprehensive digital transformation in all socio-economic fields; strengthening international cooperation, attracting investment resources in science and technology and digital transformation...
