TPO – Authorities are investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire at a foam factory of over 1,000 square meters in Le Minh Xuan commune (Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City) that burned down many properties.
On June 19, Binh Chanh District Police (HCMC) are investigating a fire at a foam factory of more than 1,000 square meters that occurred in the area.

Initial information, at around 3:00 p.m. the same day, people discovered a big fire at a foam factory on Kenh 10 Street (Hamlet 1, Tan Nhut Commune, Binh Chanh District), so they shouted to let people inside know to run outside.
When the fire was discovered, workers and people nearby used water hoses to put it out but failed. Due to flammable materials, the fire spread and flared up violently, billowing black smoke.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Binh Chanh District Police and the Fire Fighting Team of Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park mobilized many specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate in extinguishing the fire.
Firefighters split into several directions and used many high-capacity pumps to pump water from the canal to put out the fire. Nearly 2 hours later, the fire was basically under control.

The cause of the fire and the amount of damage are being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
