BTO - After 2.5 days of urgent, serious and responsible work, this afternoon (July 13), the 15th session of the 11th Provincial People's Council has completed its content and agenda.
At the meeting, based on the reports and proposals of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the examination of the Provincial People's Council Committees, the discussion opinions of the Provincial People's Council delegates and the explanations of relevant agencies; the Provincial People's Council passed 23 resolutions on socio-economic fields and activities of the Provincial People's Council with a high consensus rate.
The resolutions that have just been passed are very important, greatly impacting many fields and many subjects, creating a legal basis for all levels and sectors in the province to deploy and organize implementation, contributing to promptly removing difficulties for people and businesses. At the same time, restore and promote economic development, ensure social security and welfare, contribute to implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in 2023 and the following years.
Speaking at the closing session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Hoai Anh emphasized that in the first 6 months of 2023, in the context of facing many difficulties and challenges, under the comprehensive leadership and direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Provincial Party Committee, the flexible and effective management of the Provincial People's Committee and the efforts of all levels, sectors, the business community and people in the province, the socio-economic situation of the province remained stable and had progress compared to the same period. The Provincial People's Council acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the efforts, determination of all levels and sectors; the timely support of the business community, the solidarity, unity, joint efforts and consensus of voters and people of the whole province, which created great strength for our province to overcome difficulties and challenges, successfully completing key tasks in the past 6 months.
In the remaining months of 2023, the meeting chairman requested that all levels, sectors and localities need to quickly propose solutions to overcome shortcomings and limitations arising from subjective causes in direction and administration; proactively organize the implementation of tasks within their authority, and strive to achieve the highest targets and plans for socio-economic, national defense and security in 2023.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to promptly concretize and effectively and synchronously implement the 23 resolutions approved by the Provincial People's Council at the session so that the decisions can soon be put into practice. On the other hand, he requested the delegations of the Provincial People's Council to coordinate with the Standing Committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns and cities to promptly organize meetings with voters and report the results of the session. At the same time, continue to fully record voters' opinions and recommendations to report back to the Provincial People's Council at the next session.
