The People's Committee of Bac Binh district has just organized an assessment of OCOP product classification (one product per commune) in 2024.
Accordingly, there are 4 products evaluated and ranked by the council under the OCOP program of the district, including: Bau Trang U&Me Tourism product of business owner Mr. Pham Van Trong, Hong Lam village, Hoa Thang commune; FATHI bird's nest product - the subject is FATHI bird's nest business of Ms. Le Truc Quyen - Thai Hoa village, Hong Thai commune; Huu Nhi one-sun beef product - the business owner is Mr. Ba Huu Nhi - Binh Minh village, Phan Hoa commune and Son Hoa Cham ceramic set product of Luong Thi Hoa household in Binh Tien village, Phan Hiep commune. Products are rated and classified. These are typical rural products in the locality, which the subjects focus on improving quality, diversifying designs, ensuring conditions and regulations on origin. The products participating in the evaluation and classification have aroused the potential and strengths of raw material areas and using local labor. Among them, Bau Trang U&Me Tourist Area was established in 2022. Particularly, Huu Nhi one-sun beef product of Ba Huu Nhi business household - a specialty that stands out thanks to its rich aroma and delicious taste, soft, chewy, and naturally sweet. According to the People's Committee of Bac Binh district, based on detailed assessment and scoring of each content and criterion, the district's OCOP product evaluation and classification council has recognized 4 products: Bau Trang U&Me Tourism; FATHI Bird's Nest; Huu Nhi Sun-dried Beef and Son Hoa Cham Ceramic Set as 3-star district-level OCOP products. This is also the basis for continuing to complete the dossier and transfer it to the Provincial OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council as a basis for reviewing and deciding to award stars to the products. Thereby, contributing to upgrading the ranking, enhancing the value and competitiveness of products in the market. Thus, up to now, in Bac Binh, there are 11 entities achieving OCOP products.
