Closing ceremony of the 2025 Library Staff Competition to promote reading culture development

On the evening of March 7, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes to the contest for library staff to promote the development of reading culture and introduce books to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the great victory in the spring of 1975 (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) with the theme "Long An blends with the heroic song of the country".

The contest attracted the participation of 13 district, town and city libraries. In general, the teams introduced the right focus, right theme, closely following the content of the contest; demonstrated the content of book promotion and proposed effective solutions for library work of the locality and unit.

This year's contestants have invested in ideas, integrating drama and art into propaganda in program development; contributing to building the image of librarians in the new era. Thereby, attracting viewers and spreading the good values ​​and meanings of the works to the community, contributing to the development of reading culture as well as arousing national pride and love for the homeland in all classes of people.

Rewarding the winning students

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 6 secondary prizes, 7 consolation prizes, 3 third prizes, and 2 second prizes to the teams with good results. In particular, the Thanh Hoa District Library unit won the first prize of the contest.
