Identifying that science and technology play a major role in the development of production and life, the Center for Application and Innovation (Department of Science and Technology) has proactively innovated and implemented many scientific and technological topics. Many research topics have been applied, serving production and life well, bringing high efficiency in socio-economic development.

The model of growing monkey head mushrooms is being researched at the Center for Application and Innovation.

The Center for Application and Innovation is responsible for research, application, deployment, and technology transfer; scientific and technological information and statistics; innovation and startups.

The center's goal is to become a connecting nucleus, developing the startup and innovation ecosystem in the province, being the focal point for implementing startup and innovation support activities, closely linking with the activities of the region and other provinces and cities in the country.

The center is also a space for exchanging and sharing innovative ideas and products, honoring highly applicable technology products through product introduction, display and experience.

This creates interaction and connection between experts, businesses and the community; inspires, explores innovation capacity, and opens up cooperation opportunities in diverse fields and industries.

Closely following the province's socio-economic development program, the center proactively proposes many scientific and technological tasks to the Provincial Science and Technology Council for selection and approval.

Thereby, applying scientific and technical advances to improve crop productivity and quality; applying biological products in livestock farming, contributing to protecting the rural agricultural environment.

Up to now, the rate of applying the results of research topics into practice in the province has reached 66%, bringing high efficiency, at the same time, spreading the scientific research movement at all levels and sectors.

A typical example is the topic "Research and application of high technology in the production of health support products synthesized from precious medicinal herbs in Vinh Phuc province" to promote the value of precious medicinal herbs such as angelica, panax notoginseng, lingzhi, and cordyceps.

Model of "Application and replication of some Chinese super sweet black grape varieties in Vinh Phuc province"; experimental application of scientific research results in the production of Trichoderma.Sp antagonistic fungi to treat disease sources in soil in specialized vegetable production areas (tomatoes, cucumbers, chayote...); topic "Research, application of science and techniques for growing and propagating green lim mushrooms"...

The research topics have been tested by the center, mastering the process, breeding techniques and production suitable to the climate and soil conditions in the province to create seed sources for households and cultivation facilities.

For green lim mushroom products, up to now, the center has supported the construction of 3 production models with a scale of 5,000 bags of logs and 5,000 bags of sawdust, bringing high economic efficiency.

Among them, Ms. Tran Thi Sau, in Thanh Tru commune (Vinh Yen) received technical transfer from the center, her family expanded the mushroom growing scale to more than 3,000 bags. Thanks to following the care techniques, the mushrooms grow well, bringing in an average income of 200 million VND/crop.

The black grape growing model of Mr. Tran Duy Doan in Nhan Dao commune (Song Lo) is also a typical model that the center has successfully transferred science and technology into production.

Mr. Doan invested in building a greenhouse on a total area of ​​2 hectares of black grapes, applying the drip irrigation method to provide nutrients to each grape root, keeping the soil moist and reducing labor costs.

Students visit science and technology application models at the Center for Application and Innovation.

Regular pruning and the use of self-produced biofertilizers as base fertilizer help the vineyard grow and develop well, with many flowers and fruits, beautiful and of good quality, sweet, meeting consumer tastes...

Along with research, bringing science into practical life, the Center for Application and Innovation is also an environment to promote innovation. Many pioneering enterprises apply the center's research topics into practice, bringing practical values ​​such as Tam Dao Bee Joint Stock Company, Phung Gia Mushroom Company Limited, Vinh Thinh Livestock and Milk Processing Joint Stock Company, ION ONE Vietnam Water Joint Stock Company...

Currently, the center is collaborating with the Mushroom Research and Development Center (Institute of Agricultural Genetics) to research and implement the model of "Experimental cultivation of monkey head mushroom", at the same time, building an experience model for students on the process and techniques of producing agricultural products applying science and technology, promising to bring high efficiency and applicability in practice.

The results achieved in the center's scientific topics have changed people's thinking about scientific application, contributing to increasing production value, motivating each individual and organization to continue scientific research, bringing the value of science and technology into production practice and life.
