AN GIANG PROVINCIAL MUSEUM RESPONDS "AO DAI WEEK"

The festival honoring the traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai is one of the activities of the Provincial Women's Union to welcome the 12th An Giang Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. This is also an activity responding to the "Ao Dai Week" launched by the Vietnam Women's Union, aiming to spread, evoke pride, honor the value of Ao Dai, create a ripple effect in the community, promote the image of Vietnamese Ao Dai to the people and international friends; contributing to making the values ​​of Vietnamese Ao Dai become an intangible cultural heritage.

With that meaning, An Giang Provincial Museum launched a campaign for all female union members, civil servants and workers to wear Ao Dai during "Ao Dai Week", from March 3 to March 7, 2025.

          This is an annual activity of the Provincial Museum launched every March, encouraging female civil servants and workers to wear Ao Dai on working days of the week, participate in traditional activities, major holidays, and important events of the unit, thereby creating a widespread effect throughout the unit about the historical value of Vietnamese Ao Dai.

The image of Vietnamese women wearing Ao Dai with diverse colors and designs, combining tradition and modernity, brings a beautiful impression to visitors at the Museum and at the same time shows the charm and confidence of female cadres, civil servants and workers. This is a meaningful activity not only to celebrate the holiday but also to show respect and love for the culture and traditions of the nation./.
