The program includes two main parts: Ceremony and Political Art Program. The art program has 5 chapters including: "July Days", "As if there was no separation", "Blood and Flowers", "Where to see the strength of Vietnam", "The land of steel blooms".
Attending the program, viewers also get to return to the most fierce years of the war, witnessing the resilience of the army and people of Vinh Linh in particular and Quang Tri in general through the supply trips, transporting food, ammunition and people across both sides of the river, and from the mainland to Con Co island, to see the extraordinary efforts and abilities of people during wartime.

The indomitable heroism of the army and people of Vinh Linh is also recreated through the scene "Ground to Air", with the story of repeatedly pulling missiles in, out and back into the battlefield to shoot down the first B52s in the battle.
The highlight of the program is the two short plays “Same Skin Color” and “We Are Family”, written by author and journalist Tran Dang Tuan.
Taking the symbol of postcards exchanged between the people of the two regions, against the backdrop of Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, the play “Same Skin Color” shows the psychological transformation of the soldiers on the southern bank after being convinced by the integrity, righteousness and humanity of the people on the northern bank.
The play “We Are Family” has a cheerful and light-hearted tone, opening with the story of an anti-aircraft artillery soldier and a female militia who fell in love but did not have time to report it, thus recalling the “legend” of love between the two hometowns of Tan Ky (Nghe An) and Vinh Linh (Quang Tri) after the evacuation of the century in the years 1967-1972.
One of the special performances of the program is the flag-raising ceremony “connecting the past and the present”, originating from a scene of a secret flag-raising ceremony on the south bank of the Ben Hai River. The flag-raising performance is performed by a choir and a symphony orchestra, with 3 groups of singers on the south bank of the Ben Hai River, on the Hien Luong Bridge and at the Vinh Linh Monument stage, combined with a military band and a choir below the stage with images of different flagpoles in many regions across the country.
Within the framework of the program, Nhan Dan Newspaper will present charity houses and scholarships to poor but studious students in Quang Tri.
