PhuthoPortal - From March 1, 2025, agencies and units in Phu Tho province have consolidated and reorganized their apparatus in accordance with Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee and officially operated under the new model. In the first days of work, cadres, civil servants and public employees have been proactive and immediately approached the work assigned by the organization, ensuring the stable, continuous and uninterrupted operation of the agency.

Ensuring that the new agencies after the apparatus reorganization operate smoothly, without leaving any vacant areas, and without affecting the normal operations of people and businesses is an important task that the leaders of the agencies pay close attention to and direct, with the mindset of both implementing the apparatus reorganization and implementing regular tasks.
The Department of Science and Technology was established on the basis of merging the Department of Information and Communications with the Department of Science and Technology. After the merger, the Department has 5 divisions, 1 Sub-department and 1 affiliated public service unit. Working under the new model, the collective leadership, cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Department promptly started working according to the assigned functions and tasks.
Comrade Nguyen Minh Tuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology said: Determining the top priority is not to interrupt work, we have directed specialized departments, branches, and units to urgently deploy work, focusing on handling the remaining tasks of both units before the merger, not to stagnate or backlog work. At the same time, encourage cadres, civil servants, and public employees to promote the spirit of solidarity, join hands, overcome difficulties to successfully complete all assigned political tasks, especially the new task in the role of a standing agency to advise, assist, and synthesize the Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation Development of Phu Tho province.

Receiving the task of state management of testing and granting of road motor vehicle driving licenses, the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) has implemented it to ensure that the issuance and renewal of driving licenses for citizens is not interrupted. Major Dang Quyet Thang - Testing and granting driving licenses team, Traffic Police Department said: For our officers and soldiers, when assigned new tasks, we always promote the highest sense of responsibility and initiative when implementing. In the past few days, the number of people coming to do the procedures for issuing and renewing driving licenses is very large, however, we have been trained in professional skills and prepared synchronous and thorough equipment beforehand, so the issuance and renewal of driving licenses is carried out smoothly and conveniently, best meeting the needs of the people.

Merged from the Information Technology Department (Department of Information and Communications) and the Technology and Specialized Management Department (Department of Science and Technology), the Technology and Innovation Department (Department of Science and Technology) currently has 11 civil servants. Mr. Do Xuan Cuong - Deputy Head of the Technology and Innovation Department shared: Grasping and understanding the policy of streamlining the apparatus of the political system, in the first days of working after the merger, we all agreed and started working with a ready mindset. Despite the changes in organizational structure, functions and tasks, we will quickly approach the work, promote our capacity, strengths and work experience to complete the assigned tasks well.
Similar to the provincial level, at the district level, after the merger and arrangement of departments, offices, cadres, civil servants and public employees all strictly followed the new working regulations and rules, and started working professionally according to assigned tasks.
As an expert of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Viet Tri City before the job reorganization, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen - expert of the Department of Internal Affairs, Viet Tri City participated in meetings of the new unit to grasp the work, proactively deploy and ensure progress and timeliness. Ms. Huyen affirmed that no matter what position she is in, she always upholds the sense of responsibility and is ready to adapt to changes in the new organization.
With the strong direction of the provincial leaders, the initiative of departments and branches, and the high sense of responsibility of cadres, civil servants and public employees, the first working days after the merger at administrative agencies in the province took place seriously, effectively and smoothly.
