The price of SJC gold bars traded at DOJI in Hanoi at the end of the session on January 9 was also listed at 71.45 million VND per tael for buying and 74.45 million VND per tael for selling.
The international spot gold price on the Kitco floor at 9:53 p.m. on January 9, Vietnam time was at $2,034.4 per ounce. Meanwhile, the gold price for February 2024 delivery on the Comex New York floor was at $2,041.2 per ounce.
Gold prices today, January 10, on the world market quickly increased again thanks to bottom fishing activities and oil price recovery. Meanwhile, the strong USD hindered the upward momentum of gold.

The central exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong and the US dollar announced by the State Bank on January 9 was 23,931 VND/USD, down 2 VND compared to the previous session. The USD price at commercial banks on January 9 increased slightly, closing the session listed around 24,155-24,525 VND/USD (buy - sell).

Today, January 10, the price of gasoline and oil on the international market increased following the upward trend from the previous session. Oil prices increased due to concerns about the tension in the Middle East.
In the domestic market, the selling prices of gasoline and oil today, January 10, are applied according to the prices at the management session on the afternoon of January 4 of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade.
Accordingly, the retail prices of gasoline and oil have been adjusted down. Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline has decreased to VND21,006 per liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline has decreased to VND21,916 per liter.
Meanwhile, diesel prices dropped to VND19,368 per liter. Kerosene prices fell to VND19,957 per liter. Fuel oil prices fell to VND15,495 per kilogram.
