In recent times, An Nhon Town has focused on investing in and developing urban green trees to create a green - clean - beautiful - civilized - modern landscape and environment. Currently, the locality continues to assess the current status, supplement the quantity and types of green trees in each area and route to invest and develop synchronously, ensuring that the urban green tree targets are met according to regulations.
In recent years, the system of trees and flowers in parks, flower gardens, squares and on central roads in Binh Dinh, Dap Da, Nhon Hung, Nhon Hoa wards... has always been managed, protected and carefully cared for by functional units. Thanks to that, public trees in urban areas in An Nhon town have grown and developed well; contributing to creating a green - clean - beautiful environment, improving the quality of life for urban residents.

Ms. Ngo Thi Nguyet, in Binh Dinh ward, shared: “The trees and flowers in local parks and flower gardens are always green, creating shade and contributing to making the air cooler and fresher. In the early morning and late afternoon, I and many other people often go to the park to walk, exercise, and relax to enjoy the feeling of comfort and improve mental health.”
Mr. Ho Van Quang, Deputy Head of the An Nhon Urban Services Management Board, said: The unit was ordered by the An Nhon Town People's Committee to protect and take care of the green tree system in parks, flower gardens and on some central roads in the urban area of the town. The Board's staff water, fertilize, clear grass, prune branches... according to technical procedures to ensure the trees grow well. In addition, they regularly clean and sweep dry branches and leaves under the trees to both ensure urban aesthetics and help the trees grow and develop stably.
Mr. Tran Hoang Khai, Deputy Head of the Economic - Infrastructure and Urban Department of An Nhon Town, said: Urban trees in An Nhon Town include trees in parks, flower gardens, squares, streets where people can access and enjoy; trees at the headquarters of agencies, units, schools; specialized trees. In recent years, the People's Committee of An Nhon Town has invested in and developed a system of urban trees with diverse species and suitable for local climate and soil conditions. The main types of trees and flowers planted in the town are small-leafed banyan, black star, Middle Eastern date palm, drought-resistant xoan, yellow apricot, yellow anh, purple ox-hooves, etc.
In addition, recently, in An Nhon town, a number of thematic parks and landscaped green parks have been established in the central square area of the town (Binh Dinh ward), and Ba Canh park (Dap Da ward), creating a highlight for the urban area. At the same time, creating a place for cultural activities, sports, entertainment and recreation for the community; contributing to improving the spiritual life of urban residents.
According to Mr. Le Hoai An, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Nhon Town, implementing the plan to invest in and develop urban trees in the town in 2025 and towards 2030, the People's Committee of the town assigned the Department of Economics - Infrastructure and Urban Areas to compile and supplement the current quantity and types of trees in each area and each route. In addition, evaluate the development of trees, suitability with the soil, and general landscape to invest in and develop a synchronous, feasible, and effective urban tree system.
The town strives to ensure that by the end of 2025, the urban green land area reaches 6 - 8 m2 /person and the urban public green land area is equal to or greater than 4 m2 /person. Thereby, contributing to improving the urban landscape, protecting the ecological environment and responding to climate change; improving the quality of life of urban residents, building green cities and sustainable development.
