Lunar New Year creates a shopping frenzy across Southeast Asia, and this year is no exception. According to Alibaba.com data, traffic from the region jumped more than 50% in December (as of December 20) compared to October.
In addition, since November, Alibaba.com app downloads in Southeast Asian countries have been steadily increasing. Notably, the app regularly ranks among the top 3 shopping apps on Vietnam’s Android App Store. This trend shows that demand for B2B products and services in Southeast Asia is booming as the Lunar New Year approaches.
