Speaking at the conclusion of the conference to evaluate the work of the Front in the first 6 months of 2024, approving the preparation work for the 17th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024-2029, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Duc Tuan requested relevant departments to review and complete all steps and stages of organization so that the Congress can take place successfully. He requested the Fatherland Front at all levels and member organizations in the province to promote propaganda activities, actively compete to achieve achievements to welcome the Fatherland Front Congress at all levels, creating an exciting atmosphere among the people... At the same time, focus on implementing key tasks in the last months of the year according to plan.
At the conference, the leader of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee said that up to now, all preparations for the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Congress for the 2024-2029 term are in the final stages. The Congress is scheduled to take place from August 1-2 at the Eastern Cultural Center (Hai Duong City).
The congress is expected to have 500 delegates, including 286 official delegates and 214 invited delegates. The new term of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee is expected to have 95 members, an increase of 8 members compared to the 2019-2024 term. At the congress, 85 members will be elected (10 members will be elected later). The Standing Committee of the new term of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee is expected to have 8 people, including the Chairman, 3 Vice Chairmen, 4 Standing Members...
At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded the Commemorative Medal of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to 9 individuals who have made many contributions to the cause of national unity.
In the first 6 months of the year, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province mobilized resources to present 35,154 Tet gifts to the poor and disadvantaged people worth over 19 billion VND, and supported 920 million VND to build 14 "great solidarity" houses. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee chaired 3 supervision sessions on a number of issues related to the responsibilities of the Provincial People's Council delegates and Chairmen of the People's Committees of some districts. The People's Inspection Committees discovered and recommended to the authorities to resolve 624 cases, supervised 189 projects, and discovered 3 projects in violation...
