Vice President To Thi Bich Chau attended the 11th Congress of the Kien Giang Fatherland Front

Vice Chairwoman To Thi Bich Chau shook hands with Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Council Mai Van Huynh.

Also attending the congress were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Kien Giang province, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, former leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Kien Giang province through the periods; representatives of departments under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; representatives of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of provinces and cities in the region.

The Congress had 266/268 delegates representing all walks of life, ethnic groups, religions, intellectuals, overseas Vietnamese and Front member organizations.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province Ngo Phuong Vu informed about the congress.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang Province Le Thanh Viet said that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province in the past term had well implemented the Action Program set forth by the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, achieving quite comprehensive results, contributing to motivating people of all walks of life to unite and strive to overcome difficulties and challenges; the great solidarity bloc was strengthened, the role of the Fatherland Front was increasingly affirmed and promoted in society.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province Le Thanh Viet delivered the opening speech at the congress.

This Congress has the task of assessing the situation of the great national unity bloc and reviewing the implementation of the Action Program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term X, from which to draw lessons, set out goals, directions, tasks and the Action Program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term XI; democratically consult to elect the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for a new term in the direction of enhancing representativeness and typicality, meeting the requirements of innovation and improving the effectiveness of the Fatherland Front's activities in the new period.

Delegates are leaders and former leaders of different periods attending the congress.
