The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province said that in 2025, the agency will focus on implementing 6 key programs.
On the morning of February 5, the Standing Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee worked with the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
Reporting at the working session, Mr. Dao Manh Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, said that in 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province and member organizations closely followed the requirements of the key political tasks of the Provincial Party Committee; made efforts to innovate and create; coordinated and unified actions, effectively mobilized the strength of all classes of people; completed 100% of the annual plan, actively contributing to the implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks, ensuring national defense and security, maintaining political stability and social order and safety of the province.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels in the province were organized solemnly, seriously, and achieved high quality. Many localities in the province completed the grassroots congresses on time.
Propaganda work is promoted by promoting the strength of the system of member organizations, improving the effectiveness of coordination with press and media agencies, and increasing the effective use of information channels.
The gathering and uniting of people from all walks of life continues to receive attention and there are many new points in the work of coordination, guidance and implementation.
The campaign “All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas” has been synchronously and effectively implemented; social security work and care for the poor have achieved many practical results, notably the effective implementation of the Project to support housing for poor households; the quality of supervision and criticism work has been improved...
In 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province will focus on implementing 6 key programs of the agency, including: first, innovating propaganda, mobilization, and gathering people of all walks of life; enhancing people's trust in the Party, State and socialist regime; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc to realize the goal of building a rich, beautiful, and civilized Quang Tri.
Second, mobilize people to promote the spirit of innovation, creativity, and cooperation in labor; help each other reduce poverty; build a consensual, secure, and safe society; join hands to build and improve the results of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
Third, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province promotes its core political role at the grassroots level so that the People can be the masters and practice democracy; protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the People; improve the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, prevent corruption, waste, and negativity; participate in Party building and building a clean and strong government.
Fourth, solidarity and international cooperation; expanding and improving the quality of people's foreign affairs activities; protecting national borders.
Fifth, build a residential area of "Unity, democracy, prosperity, safety, and happiness".
Sixth, continue to innovate the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province, improve capacity, build the image of the Front's cadres according to the criteria of "Enthusiasm, responsibility and integration", meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period. Ensure the Regulations on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period in the Vietnam Fatherland Front system.
At the working session, based on the actual activities of the Front and the key contents in 2025, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee agree to the policy of organizing the activities.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Tri province agreed with the proposals of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee on the policy of organizing activities and key contents in 2025. At the same time, he suggested a number of issues for the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to study and implement to achieve the best results.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee also hopes that the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province and its member organizations will continue to effectively implement the proposed key programs; have specific plans to participate with the province to accelerate the construction and completion of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by August 2025.
