5,000 yogis, not afraid of wind and rain, came to My Dinh Stadium to receive bib, ready for the record-breaking yoga performance (Video: Minh Quang).
At 2:00 p.m. on August 11, 5,000 yogis (yoga lovers and practitioners) flocked to the lobby on the first floor of Grandstand B at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi) to receive kits to participate in the Dan Tri Yoga Festival taking place tomorrow morning (August 12).
The kit includes a shirt, a ticket with your name, registration number, and a gift. Although it rained heavily in Hanoi this afternoon, the Organizing Committee has arranged a spacious reception counter, convenient for yogis to receive their items.
The organizers gave 200 gifts to the 200 earliest arrivals, adding joy to the yoga event attendees. Because the kits were distributed during office hours, many people came to receive and help their colleagues and friends.
When arriving at the reception counter, yogis only need to show the QR Code (given when purchasing tickets) to the counter staff to verify information and can quickly receive the kit.
Yogi Thuy Trang was excited to receive a kit including a shirt and gifts to participate in the Dan Tri Yoga Festival held at My Dinh Stadium.
"I am very happy and extremely excited to participate in the biggest yoga performance ever organized by Dan Tri newspaper," Trang shared.
Nguyen Thi Quynh, who works in Hanoi, arrived at 2 p.m. and received the kit for a group of about 15 people at her office. "I signed up with my colleagues at work. Yoga helps me become more flexible and I feel very relaxed when I practice. I'm excited and looking forward to participating tomorrow," Quynh said.
At the reception area of stand B, booths accompanying the Organizing Committee organized many experiential activities, trial yoga exercises to support health, attracting many yogis to practice together.
From 3pm, the main stage in My Dinh Stadium was actively rehearsing for the biggest yoga festival in Vietnam. Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri newspaper Pham Tuan Anh and all staff and reporters of the newspaper were also present at the stadium to rehearse the program.
In addition to the performance of 5,000 yogis, there are also many activities to exchange, experience, share skills, and provide health check-ups... for yoga lovers.
Yogis receive their posing kits on stage, ready for the early morning performance tomorrow (August 12).
In particular, after the end of the performance of 5,000 yogis, there will be a formation of the national flag covering the entire surface of My Dinh Stadium.
"Dan Tri Yoga Festival - Stay healthy and beautiful with yoga" will take place at 5:30 a.m. on August 12, 2023 at My Dinh National Stadium, No. 1 Le Duc Tho, Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi.
