This year, Hai Lang district has 171 young men joining the army. Of these, 135 new recruits joined the people's army units, including: Division 324, Military Region 4; Provincial Military Command; Provincial Border Guard Command and 36 new recruits joined the people's police service. These are new recruits examined, selected by the Hai Lang District Military Service Council and met the required conditions.

Before the military enlistment day, localities in the district organized meetings to encourage new recruits to feel secure about joining the army and strive to complete their assigned tasks well.
At the military handover ceremony, the leaders of the province and Hai Lang district encouraged the new recruits and hoped that in the military, the 171 young men of Hai Lang district would overcome all difficulties, constantly strive, train, further promote the traditions of their homeland, and continue to make worthy contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
