The products brought by Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises to introduce and display at the exhibition are quite diverse, including: Sportswear, jackets, denim, dresses, women's fashion, children's products, highly applicable fabrics, and hats.
The Vietnamese booth with a variety of products, materials and designs that meet market trends, and an easy-to-find location has attracted the attention of most customers visiting and working with Vietnamese businesses.
On the opening day of the fair, Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises welcomed 100 visitors to their booths. According to the evaluation of enterprises attending the booths, this year's fair had more visitors than last year, most of them were satisfied and expected the results to be achieved after the fair.
Diversifying markets and export products has been the consistent orientation of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association in recent years. Accompanying the textile and garment business community, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Vietnam Trade Office in Australia have also actively promoted and supported businesses to participate in trade promotion activities and promote products in this market.
Statistics from the General Department of Customs show that in the first 10 months of 2024, Vietnam exported over 446 million USD to the Australian market. Experts believe that this turnover can be increased further as both countries are now members of the ASEAN - Australia/New Zealand Free Trade Agreement; the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.
At the same time, Vietnamese garments are increasingly favored by Australian consumers, helping to increase the competitiveness of this product in the local market.
