On the afternoon of April 17, in Bac Giang City (Bac Giang Province), the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa Province held a conference to promote and connect Thanh Hoa tourism with provinces and cities in the extended Red River Delta.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi affirmed: "Bac Giang and the provinces and cities of the Red River Delta are tourism markets that play a leading role in the strategy of developing and expanding the tourist market of Thanh Hoa tourism. At this conference, Thanh Hoa province hopes to create opportunities for investors, partners, and tourism businesses of Thanh Hoa province and provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region to meet, connect, and cooperate, in order to develop complete tourism products and services with high quality and reasonable prices, and build a tourism stimulus package to recover and develop the tourism industry quickly and sustainably in accordance with the direction of Directive 08/CT-TTg dated February 23, 2024 of the Prime Minister".
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Thanh Hoa has been and is continuing to focus on perfecting existing tourism products; at the same time, constantly adding new products and high-quality services. For example, in April and May 2024, Thanh Hoa province will inaugurate the Sea Square, the festival landscape axis of Sam Son city; Sun Group inaugurated and put into operation Sun World Sam Son Park; Flamingo Group inaugurated and put into operation the Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien project complex (Hoang Hoa), promising to be the most vibrant and attractive check-in, dining - entertainment - health and festival spot in the Northern region.
Along with that, 145 attractive cultural, sports and tourism events have been, are being and will continue to be held throughout 2024.

However, to deepen cooperation, some opinions suggest that Thanh Hoa province and the provinces and cities of the Red River Delta need to focus on effectively implementing a number of solutions such as: researching and developing a system of unique and quality tourism products; improving service quality; promoting cooperation between service providers and travel agencies to create competitive prices...

Attending and giving a speech, Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Nguyen Trung Khanh said that Thanh Hoa province and the expanded provinces and cities of the Red River Delta need to promote in-depth linkages, bringing about efficiency commensurate with available resources.
To do that, localities need to focus on researching and implementing specific and practical activities in response to the campaign "Vietnamese people travel to Vietnam - Vietnam I love" which is being oriented by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to be implemented in localities. Together with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, participate in promoting and advertising abroad to attract international visitors; select typical products so that localities can expand connections, contribute to increasing the value of tours and attracting tourists; find suitable messages in each connecting journey...
In particular, it is necessary to focus on exploiting cultural values in tourism development; finding different cultural values based on similar products between localities to link in depth.
He suggested that tourism associations and businesses between localities need to cooperate more closely, develop a chain of creative, innovative, high-quality tourism products, integrate more utilities, and provide more interesting experiences for tourists.
