On September 15, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc signed decisions to provide food, supplies, and disinfectant chemicals to localities to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
In Decision 986/QD-TTg, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phuc requested Ministry of Finance Provided 182,585 kg of rice and supplies and equipment from national reserves to the provinces: Hung Yen, Cao Bang, Phu Tho, Bac Kan overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
In particular, Hung Yen province was supported with: 01 set of DT3 speedboats; 1,000 life jackets; 1,000 round life buoys; 10 sets of 24.5 m2 life tents; 01 set of 30KVA generator; 32,585 kg of rice.
Cao Bang Province Supported: 01 set of DT2 speedboat; 40 sets of 24.5m2 life-saving tents ; 1,000 life jackets; 1,000 life buoys; 20 light life rafts; 05 fire fighting water pumps; 02 generators (including: 01 30KVA set and 01 50KVA set).
Phu Tho Province Supported: 01 set of DT2 speedboats, 03 sets of 50 KVA generators; 1,123 life jackets; 445 round life buoys; 10 light life rafts; 02 sets of drilling and cutting equipment; 02 sets of concrete drilling machines; 02 sets of rescue rope launching equipment (bait launching equipment).
Bac Kan province was supported with 150,000 kg of rice.
The Ministry of Finance, according to its assigned functions and tasks, is responsible for the basis, information, data reported and proposed. The People's Committees of the provinces: Hung Yen, Cao Bang, Phu Tho, Bac Kan are responsible for the accuracy of the reported data; receive and organize timely support, to the right subjects and at the right rates; manage and use national reserve goods to ensure efficiency, for the right purposes and implement the reporting regime (sent to the Ministry of Finance) in accordance with regulations.
In addition, in Decision 985/QD-TTg, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Health to provide 1,765,000 Aquatabs 67mg water disinfectant tablets from the national reserve free of charge to the provinces of Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Bac Kan, Vinh Phuc, Dien Bien, Cao Bang and the Ministry of Health to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
Of which, Lao Cai province: 1,000,000 pills; Phu Tho province: 100,000 pills; Bac Kan province: 50,000 pills; Vinh Phuc province: 15,000 pills; Dien Bien province: 100,000 pills; Cao Bang province: 200,000 pills; Ministry of Health: 300,000 pills.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to be responsible for the basis, information, data, reports and proposals. The People's Committees of the provinces: Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Bac Kan, Vinh Phuc, Dien Bien, Cao Bang and the Ministry of Health shall organize timely support, to the right subjects, ensuring effectiveness, right purpose and implementing the reporting regime (sent to the Ministry of Finance) in accordance with regulations.
