Remove the position of Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee for Mr. Nguyen Ngoc

Accordingly, disciplinary action was taken in the form of removing the position of Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee for the 2011-2016 term for Mr. Nguyen Ngoc, former Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, due to violations and shortcomings in his work and the Secretariat had taken disciplinary action against him.

The disciplinary period is calculated from the date of announcement of Decision No. 1510-QDNS/TW dated August 27, 2024 of the Secretariat on party discipline enforcement.

Previously, the Inspection Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee (term XIV) held its 39th session.

At this meeting, the Inspection Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee reviewed and concluded that in 2015, as Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc lacked responsibility in performing assigned tasks and agreed with the land price plan proposed by the Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

Mr. Ngoc advised the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to sign and issue Decision No. 3371/QD-UBND dated November 25, 2015, approving specific land prices to calculate land use fees for 363,523.6m2 permitted to change land use purpose of the Phan Thiet coastal urban tourism project without sufficient basis according to legal regulations, causing great damage to the State budget.
