Central Inspection Commission issues press release for 50th session

From November 11 to 13, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held its 50th meeting. Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission chaired the meeting.

At this session, the Central Inspection Commission (CIC) reviewed and concluded a number of contents.

Implementing the direction of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; after reviewing the inspection results when there are signs of violations and the review results, propose to take disciplinary action against the Party Committee of the Ministry of Transport related to the implementation of bidding packages and projects implemented by Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company...

The Central Inspection Commission held its 50th session.

Considering the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violation; based on the Party's regulations, the Central Inspection Commission determines the personal responsibility of comrade Nguyen Van The, former Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Transport, and a number of other Party organizations and Party members. The Inspection Commission decides to take disciplinary action:

Expelled from the Party 2 comrades: Nguyen Quang Huy, Party Secretary, Director of Project Management Board 4; Vu Hai Tung, Party Secretary, Head of the Road Construction Investment Management Department.

Remove from all positions in the Party the following: Nguyen Thanh Van, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction Investment Management, former Party Secretary, Director of Project Management Board 85; Phan Duy Khanh, Member of the Party Executive Committee of Project Management Board 85, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Planning and Synthesis Department; Vuong Dinh Kieu, Deputy Head of Technical - Appraisal Department, Project Management Board 6, former Party Cell Secretary, Head of Planning and Technical Department, Project Management Board 4.

The Inspection Committee warns: The Party Committees of the Vietnam Road Administration, Project Management Board 4, Project Management Board 85 for the 2020-2025 term; the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board for the 2015-2020 term; the Party Committee of the Road Construction Investment Management Department for the 2022-2025 term and 3 individuals at the Vietnam Expressway Administration; Vietnam Road Administration; Project Management Board 85. Reprimands 3 collectives and 4 individuals.

The Central Inspection Commission has decided to discipline 14 other party members involved.

The Central Inspection Committee proposed that competent authorities consider and discipline the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Transport for the 2021-2026 term and Mr. Nguyen Van The.

The Central Inspection Commission requested the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Transport to lead and direct the timely correction of violations and shortcomings pointed out; coordinate in directing the review, consideration and handling of responsibilities of party organizations and party members with violations according to their authority.

At the meeting, implementing the conclusion of the Central Inspection Commission at the 48th meeting on the Party Committee, Party Secretary, President of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry and a number of related Party organizations and Party members; based on the Party's regulations, the Central Inspection Commission decided to discipline and reprimand: the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry for the 2015-2020 term and Mr. Pham Tan Cong, Party Secretary, President; Hoang Quang Phong, Deputy Party Secretary, Vice President and 3 individuals. The Central Inspection Commission decided to discipline 8 other Party organizations and 4 related Party members.

The Central Inspection Committee proposed that competent authorities consider and discipline the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry for the terms 2015-2020 and 2021-2026.

Also at the meeting, considering the Report on the results of the proposal to discipline party members who violated the Party Committee of Tra Vinh province, based on the Party's regulations, the Central Inspection Commission proposed that the competent authority consider and discipline Mr. Tran Van Ven for acts that caused very serious consequences during his tenure as a member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, Party Secretary, and Chairman of the Board of Members of the Southern Food Corporation.

Also at this session, the Central Inspection Commission reviewed and concluded a number of contents related to the results of the supervision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Standing Committees of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Commission; inspected the declaration of assets and income of the Standing Committees of the Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee and a number of other important contents.
