Building a “Model Women’s Road”

After nearly a month of implementing the "Model Road" in Kien Xuong village, Phong Lai commune; Hung Nhan village, Chieng Pha commune; Pan Na village, Tong Lanh commune, on March 19, the Women's Union of Thuan Chau district organized the handover of the roads to female members for protection and care.

The model "Model Women's Road" deployed in the villages has received positive responses from cadres, women's union members and people.

Ms. Phung Thi Thao, Head of the Women's Association of Hung Nhan village, Chieng Pha commune, Thuan Chau, Son La: The women also focus on doing it and it is also very quick. To maintain this flower route well, the women will assign each other to water the flowers every afternoon and take care of them.

The "Model Routes" have a total length of 145m, 86 flower pots, 40 slogans promoting the criteria for building new rural areas, with a total cost of 100 million VND from the National Target Program for building new rural areas.

Ms. LUONG THI THANH THUY, President of Thuan Chau Women's Union, Son La: In the coming time, the communes will continue to maintain and expand the routes to have more and more model women's routes, self-managed women's routes and flower routes built and implemented by women. This is also one of the very practical contents that women's union members at all levels in Thuan Chau district are working with local authorities in communes and towns in the district to implement the criteria for building new rural areas and building civilized urban areas.

The model of "Model Women's Road" contributes to promoting the implementation of the Campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's", building new rural areas, creating a "green-clean-beautiful" environmental landscape./.
