Vinh Thuan Commune hands over solidarity house

The Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Vinh Thuan District coordinated with the Steering Committee of Vinh Thuan Commune to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a solidarity house for Mr. Nguyen Van Ut's family.

The families that started building houses this time include Mr. Lam Van Mong, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut and Ms. Nguyen Thi Tiem; the two families that were handed over houses this time include Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan and Mr. Truong Van Do, both residing in Vinh Thuan commune. Each house is supported with 60 million VND from the budget allocated by the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Kien Giang province.

District Party Committee member and Party Secretary of Vinh Thuan Commune Phan Thi Cam said that the commune has completed the construction of 18/18 solidarity houses in phase 1. In phase 2, the commune will build and hand over 32 solidarity houses to households in difficult circumstances, with a total cost of 1.9 billion VND.
