(Dan Tri) - After Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Chau, former General Director of Bach Dat An Joint Stock Company, was arrested for embezzlement, the company's representative said that they will continue to implement and hand over red books to the people.
Speaking with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Diep Bao Long - General Director of Bach Dat An Joint Stock Company (Bach Dat An Company) - said that Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Chau's embezzlement of the company's assets with an amount of nearly 1,000 billion VND has greatly affected the implementation of the project in the future.
According to Mr. Long, regarding the implementation of projects in general and the 3 projects that owe people 1,000 red books in particular, the company is taking steps according to the schedule set by Quang Nam province. "We will try our best to fulfill our responsibilities and obligations, and issue books to people," Mr. Long said.

According to him, regarding the project progress, the company has a specific report to send to the People's Committee of Quang Nam province.
Specifically, the site clearance progress of the 7B expansion project has been completed at 86.5%; Hera Complex has completed 85.2% and will complete the remaining part as planned by November 30; Bach Dat 1 project has a decision to allocate 5.7 hectares of land and the remaining part is expected to be completed by March 31, 2025.
The financial problem of implementing unfinished projects, when Ms. Chau appropriated thousands of billions of VND, has caused Bach Dat An Company to face difficulties in the past time. Mr. Long said that the company is cooperating with partners. In addition, with the support of customers, the company will have a financial plan to participate in project implementation.

The company's leaders also hope that the police will clarify the matter to help the company recover the lost money as soon as possible, so that the project can be implemented as soon as possible.
In 2017, Bach Dat An Company signed a contract with Hoang Nhat Nam to distribute nearly 1,000 land lots in 3 projects of the 7B urban area expansion, Hera Complex Riverside and Bach Dat 1, in the new urban area of Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc (Dien Ban town). After that, the two companies had a dispute and took each other to court.
Courts at all levels have issued legally effective judgments, forcing Bach Dat An Company to continue to perform the deposit and land distribution contract, the agreement minutes, and attached appendices... between the two companies.
During the execution process, the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of Quang Nam province repeatedly urged and requested Bach Dat An Company to voluntarily execute the judgment.
However, this company did not execute the judgment, violated commitments on project implementation deadlines, and has not fulfilled financial obligations...
The dispute between the two companies has lasted for many years, causing nearly 1,000 land buyers to suffer in demanding their red books for many years, causing public outrage and affecting local security and order...
On the afternoon of October 31, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Nam Province Police issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Chau (born in 1973, residing in Hai Chau district, Da Nang city), former General Director of Bach Dat An Joint Stock Company, for the crime of embezzlement of property.

The investigation results determined that from 2017 to 2023, during the implementation of real estate projects in Quang Nam province, Bach Dat An Company collected deposits from customers to buy land.
The company used part of the proceeds to invest in the project, and Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Chau directed her employees to give her the remaining money for personal use.
