"When I was 12, my friend invited me to smoke, but I refused immediately. I don't do anything I don't like. Since I was young, I was aware that I wanted to be a polite and civilized person in the future, so I stayed away from bad things. Those are also the good things that my adoptive father taught me later on: to live with morality and dignity" - Vo Minh Khai shared.

"At the age of 15, I went out to pursue an acting career, wanting to live in an artistic environment. My family did not object but actually liked it. To pursue art, I had to do all kinds of work on stage such as checking tickets, cleaning, and performing for the public with a salary of 50,000 VND for 2 shows. When it got too hard, going early and coming home late without any achievements, my father saw it and forbade me from pursuing this career" - Vo Minh Khai said.

After participating in the game show, Vo Minh Khai was given a bicycle by MC Dai Nghia. He rode that bicycle to work every day. Although he only got paid 50,000 VND for 2 performances, he still enjoyed it because he got to stand on stage.
"In fact, my hardships are not as hard as the hardships my adoptive father went through when he was a young actor. My adoptive father lived a very determined life, from a young man who had just come from Sa Dec, Dong Thap to Ho Chi Minh City to start a career. I heard my father tell me about all the hardships he went through, and I felt so sorry for him. Those are valuable lessons for me to constantly strive to always be worthy of being my father's son" - actor Vo Minh Khai confided.
