On the evening of February 8, the performance of the play "Van Vo Ky Duyen" (author: Hong Sinh, Hoa Lu, director: Meritorious Artist Chi Linh) at Chi Linh and Van Ha theaters attracted a large audience. The organizers had to add extra seats to meet the demand for watching traditional opera of this art unit.

After artists such as Vo Minh Lam, Hoang Hai, Vo Minh Nghiem, Thuy My, Hoai Thanh... performed last night with the play "Van Vo Ky Duyen", the two created conditions for Le Hoang Nghi - "Chuong Vang Vong Co" in 2024 to transform gracefully and confidently into the role of the king.

Before Tet, I heard that Le Hoang Nghi had joined the Long An Cai Luong Troupe. However, this was a performance he participated in to reinforce the Chi Linh and Van Ha stages, and at the same time, it was also an opportunity for him to try his hand at the field of classical opera. "This play is the first classical opera I have performed, throughout the play I was always nervous and anxious, not knowing if I did well and if the audience would like it because I was still quite clumsy in my gestures, new to the dances and movements of classical opera, but I was very happy because I played my role well and received compliments from the audience and the crew.
I feel very, very lucky to have an extremely great opportunity to participate in Uncle Chi Linh and Miss Van Ha's stage, to practice and stand on the same stage with the uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters that I have watched and admired very much" - Le Hoang Nghi confided.

He said that last night's performance was very "satisfying" and he hopes to continue to accompany the stage and continue to study and improve his career. The story "Van Vo Ky Duyen" is not unfamiliar to audiences of traditional opera. The play is staged during Tet so that audiences can both laugh and experience the climax of the performance in which the actors use dance, singing, and martial arts to tell the story of the loyalty of young people who want to protect the country and fight against corrupt officials who plot to sell the country to the enemy.
The play features the following artists: Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam: as Cao Khanh Van (Song Hy), Meritorious Artist Tu Suong: as Truong Que Anh, Meritorious Artist Van Ha as Hau Ban Nguyet, Meritorious Artist Chi Linh as Truong Hien; Artist Thuy My as Hau Nguyet Anh, Artist Hoai Thanh as Cao Khanh Ngoc, Artist Lam Minh Nghiem as Cao Khanh Vo, Artist Chi Bao as Luong De Doc, Artist Cao Thuy Vy as Hau phu nhan, Artist Son Minh as Luong Vo Tai, Artist Diep Duy as Truong Ngan Binh, Artist Nhat Thanh as Hau Quan Dat... and Artist Le Hoang Nghi as the king.
