Viettel cooperates in the field of 5G technology and artificial intelligence

It is known that the cooperation agreement aims at the two businesses to create great values, improving the quality of services for customers. Specifically, in the 5G research and development sector, the two sides will cooperate to develop 5G solutions including software and hardware. In the field of cloud computing, Supermicro will provide hardware and Viettel will provide software to develop Private Cloud solutions for customers.

The two parties will jointly develop high-performance, energy-efficient server solutions tailored to customer groups; apply artificial intelligence to improve the quality of telecommunications, data centers and business processes.

Viettel has experience in the field of telecommunications exploitation and has now completely mastered the equipment in the 5G ecosystem, including radio access equipment, transmission equipment, and core network systems, making Vietnam the fifth country in the world to master 5G technology.

Supermicro was founded in 1993 in Silicon Valley (USA), specializing in the design and manufacture of servers, server motherboards - products that connect all the system components in a computer and allow them to communicate with each other. Supermicro's strength is building server technology from the ground up, allowing Supermicro to develop customized solutions with the highest performance for customers.

The combination of the two sides is expected to promote and deploy 5G network widely in Vietnam.
