Vietjet completes target of 10 new aircraft in 2024
At the transition between the old year 2024 and the new year 2025, Vietjet received two new modern A321neo ACF aircraft from aircraft manufacturer Airbus. The event concluded a year 2024 of continuous expansion of Vietjet's flight network and fleet growth, ready to enter the peak season of Lunar New Year.
Over the past year, Vietjet has received 10 new aircraft, continuously expanding its flight network to serve customers on more than 170 domestic and international routes, connecting prominent destinations in Australia, Japan, Korea, India and Southeast Asia. The new A321neo ACF aircraft is equipped with modern, comfortable facilities with 240 seats, helping to reduce emissions and noise compared to previous generations of aircraft. This is not only an upgrade in passenger service capacity but also affirms Vietjet's commitment to green, environmentally friendly journeys, sustainable development and the goal of reducing net emissions to zero by 2050.
On the first day of the new year, new aircraft joining Vietjet's modern fleet will be put into operation, bringing a good, economical and safe flight experience to passengers on all Vietjet flights.
At the same time, the airline also plans to continue adding wet-lease aircraft in the first days of January 2025, ensuring the best service for the increased travel demand of passengers during peak times.
