Vietjet partners with Xanh SM to promote sustainable transportation between Vietnam and Indonesia

New-generation airline Vietjet and Xanh SM, a pioneer in pure electric mobility services, have just signed a strategic cooperation agreement to develop a variety of convenient services for people and tourists, promote tourism, and attract investment in Vietnam, Indonesia and the region.

Mr. Do Xuan Quang, Deputy General Director of Vietjet (right) and Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Global General Director of Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM) (left) signed a cooperation agreement on green mobility services in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The comprehensive cooperation between the two parties will bring passengers a modern, environmentally friendly travel experience at a reasonable cost, while affirming the joint commitment of Vietjet and Xanh SM in building a green transport ecosystem in Southeast Asia, contributing to creating sustainable values ​​for the regional and global community. Since launching the first route to Bali in 2019, Vietjet has continuously expanded its flight network between the two countries, creating a bridge to promote trade, tourism and cultural exchange. The airline has transported more than 1.6 million passengers and provided more than 9,700 flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Jakarta and Bali (Indonesia). Vietjet is also the only airline providing direct flights between Vietnam and the famous tourist island of Bali, bringing optimal convenience to people of the two countries and international visitors. Vietjet currently operates 4 direct routes, with 80 flights per week between Vietnam and Indonesia. Vietjet is an official member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and holds the IOSA Operational Safety Audit (OSA) certificate. The largest private airline in Vietnam is ranked 7 stars - the highest in the world for aviation safety by the prestigious organization AirlineRatings, top 50 best airlines in the world for operations and financial health in 2018, 2019 by AirFinance Journal, continuously receiving the award for best low-cost airline awarded by prestigious organizations such as Skytrax, CAPA, AirlineRatings...
