Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank - HoSE: VCB) has just issued a document announcing information about the minutes, resolutions and documents of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in November 2023.
Accordingly, the Vietcombank General Meeting of Shareholders approved the election of Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh as a member of the Board of Directors for the 2023-2028 term.
According to her resume, Ms. Kim Oanh was born in 1975 in Nghe An, currently residing in Tay Ho street, Quang An ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi city.
She graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from the National Economics University in Hanoi, a bachelor's degree in foreign languages from the University of Foreign Languages and a master's degree in business from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh was elected to the Board of Directors of Vietcombank.
Ms. Oanh has been with Vietcombank for 26 years. Specifically, she joined the bank in 1997 as a Project Officer - Transaction Office, then held many positions in the bank's departments. In May 2013, Ms. Oanh was elected as a member of Vietcombank's Board of Directors. Since December 2014, she has held the position of Deputy General Director of the bank.
Thus, after electing additional members, Vietcombank's Board of Directors has a total of 10 people, including Chairman Pham Quang Dung and 9 members of the Board of Directors: Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - General Director of Vietcombank, Mr. Shojiro Mizoguchi - Deputy General Director;
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Mr. Nguyen My Hao, Mr. Hong Quang, Mr. Do Viet Hung, 2 independent members of the Board of Directors, Mr. Truong Gia Binh and Mr. Vu Viet Ngoan and most recently, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh.
In addition, Vietcombank's General Meeting of Shareholders also approved the dismissal of Ms. La Thi Hong Minh from the Supervisory Board for the 2023-2028 term to arrange other work. The number of members of Vietcombank's Supervisory Board after Ms. Minh's dismissal is 3 members .
