Ticketbox - the ticket seller for two BlackPink concerts in Hanoi has just announced that it will stop selling tickets after one week of opening.
The reason given by this unit is to ensure the rights of the audience when there is a lot of information about selling and buying back tickets at different prices on social networks.
"To ensure the best service to the audience, the organizing committee (BTC) would like to announce the suspension of ticket sales for the BlackPink World Tour Born Pink Hanoi concert," Ticketbox announced.
BTC affirms that there is only one ticket sales channel, buying tickets outside the above system contains risks of fake tickets and disputes. BTC is not responsible for these transactions.
Unsold tickets are announced to stop online sales on the Organizing Committee's ticket sales website.
The day before, audiences were unable to access the ticket purchase section on the official ticketing website. After a few hours, the ticketing section on the website was changed to "Maintenance".
Immediately after going on sale on July 7, all VIP tickets for the 2-day BlackPink concert were sold out. Tickets such as Cat 1, Cat 2 and Platinum, priced from 5.8-7.8 million VND, are still on sale. In particular, cheap tickets such as 1.2 million VND, 1.8 million VND, 3.8 million VND have also been sold out.
According to Giao Thong Newspaper, the BlackPink concert ticket transfer market was bustling on social networks (black market) right after the day the organizers opened ticket sales on the official website.
On BlackPink concert groups in Hanoi, many accounts updated posts offering to resell tickets at the original price or accept a loss of several hundred thousand to 1 - 2 million VND for many reasons such as: finding better tickets, accidentally buying extra, being busy with work or wanting to change to another date...
Tickets are even offered for sale on e-commerce platforms; many traders are willing to sell at a loss, selling below the purchase price to quickly recover the capital invested, but the consumption rate is quite slow.

BlackPink's Born Pink concert will take place on the nights of July 29 and 30 at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi. Tickets will be officially sold in two phases: the first phase will open at 12:00 on July 7 for the July 29 show; the second phase will open at 14:00 on July 7 for the July 30 show.
Both ticket sales sessions recorded overload when hundreds of thousands of people accessed the official ticket sales website at the same time.
During the first sale, the ticketing system quickly crashed and displayed the message “Error_general_message”. After more than 10 minutes, people were able to access it again, but had to wait in line online.
There were cases where over 100,000 people had to wait for a queue number. At that time, on Ticketbox's fanpage, posts received thousands of interactions, including a large amount of "angry" emotions.
