The match between U22 Vietnam and U22 Uzbekistan took place at Yancheng Olympic Stadium (Jiangsu province, China).
In recent years, Uzbekistan youth football has emerged as a leading team in Asia with achievements such as reaching the quarter-finals of the U17 World Cup 2011, 2023, the quarter-finals of the U20 World Cup 2013, 2025, winning the U20 Asian Championship 2023 and winning the U23 Asian Championship 2018.
In this match, acting head coach of U22 Vietnam Dinh Hong Vinh only changed one position in the defense in the starting lineup compared to the first match, which ended in a 1-1 draw with U22 Korea. Center back Nguyen Duc Anh (Hanoi Club) replaced Nguyen Nhat Minh (Hai Phong Club).

In the first half, U22 Vietnam created many dangerous attacking situations. Overseas Vietnamese midfielder Viktor Le played enthusiastically, creating a scoring opportunity but unfortunately could not take advantage of it.
In the second half, U22 Uzbekistan pushed up their attacking formation, forcing U22 Vietnam to focus on defense. The coaching staff continuously reminded the players to stay calm and tactically disciplined.
