On the evening of August 30, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Youth Union organized the 10th national program to honor "Young, Excellent Cadres, Civil Servants and Public Employees" in 2024.

From 262 nominations, the Central Youth Union Secretariat decided to commend 85 examples of "Young, talented cadres, civil servants and public employees" nationwide.
These are examples of excellent young cadres, civil servants and public employees, typical representatives in the fields of labor, study and work; always proactive, proactive and creative in performing assigned tasks; not afraid of difficulties, hardships, "dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility"; active in advising, proposing many ideas and initiatives, actively participating in administrative reform, building working style, manners and public ethics; regularly practicing revolutionary moral qualities to be worthy of being "servants" of the people as President Ho Chi Minh often advised.
Speaking at the commendation ceremony, comrade Ngo Van Cuong congratulated 85 examples of "Young, excellent cadres, civil servants and public employees" nationwide in 2024.

Within the framework of the commendation ceremony, on August 30, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City met and congratulated the 10th "Excellent Young Cadres, Civil Servants and Public Employees" nationwide.
On August 29 and 30, delegates participated in many meaningful activities at the Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Site; experienced Ho Chi Minh City tourism by double-decker bus; offered incense and flowers to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh; visited and learned about administrative reform models and digital transformation application models in public management in Ho Chi Minh City.
The National “Excellent Young Cadres, Civil Servants and Public Employees” Award is an award of the Central Youth Union, first held in 2012 to reward and honor union members and young cadres, civil servants and public employees with outstanding achievements in training, working and implementing the “3 responsibilities” and “Creative Youth” movements.
The award also aims to promote the activities of the Youth Union and movements among young cadres, civil servants and public employees; to honor and reward exemplary cadres, civil servants and public employees with good and practical initiatives, solutions, models and ways of doing things, serving professional tasks and bringing efficiency in work. After 9 times of organizing the award, 465 excellent young cadres, civil servants and public employees have been commended.
