The program took place on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and was even more meaningful as it marked the outstanding efforts and contributions of the youth of BTTM in many fields: Training, combat readiness, scientific research, and high-performance sports.

Last year, BTTM youth had many outstanding achievements, contributing to clearly demonstrating the creativity and enthusiasm of the young force. Specifically, BTTM youth participated in the 24th TTST Award with 21 entries, of which 17 won prizes (10 Second prizes, 4 Third prizes, 3 Encouragement prizes). Notably, one collective received a Certificate of Merit from the Government and another collective received a Certificate of Merit from the Head of the General Department of Politics for their outstanding achievements in organizing and participating in the Award.

The projects participating in this award are all highly appreciated for their practical application, actively contributing to the tasks of national defense-security, training, and combat readiness. Many projects have researched and manufactured products to replace imported materials when the supply is affected, ensuring technical initiative and cost savings for the State and the Army. Some outstanding topics include 3D metal printing technology, manufacturing digital control equipment for radar stations, cloud computing technology serving digital transformation, etc.

The program also honored 10 outstanding BTTM officers in 2024, who are outstanding representatives of thousands of BTTM youth union members. These include the fields of training, combat readiness, scientific research, and high-performance sports. Outstanding athletes include: Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Thi Ngoan, Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Quang Vinh, Private Nguyen Thi Dieu Ly; talented young officers such as Major Luu Duc Tho, Captain Tran Van Tuan, Senior Lieutenant Luong Viet Ha, Senior Lieutenant Tran Tho Bien, etc.

In his speech, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan congratulated and praised the achievements of the youth of the Military Command. He emphasized the great role of the youth in the revolutionary cause, affirming his trust and expectations for the young generation. The youth of the Army in general and the youth of the Military Command in particular are always the vanguard force, ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

The achievements of the youth of BTTM in the past year have made an important contribution to the cause of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Army. These efforts further affirm the spirit of "Wherever there is a need, there is youth; wherever there is difficulty, there is youth", demonstrated through each topic, each arduous training session, each drop of sweat on the field, training ground, and even the intense hours of scientific research.

Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan noted that 2025 will be a year of many important events for the country, especially the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Central Military Commission (September 7, 1945 / September 7, 2025). With the spirit of initiative and creativity, the youth of the Central Military Commission need to continue to promote glorious traditions, actively cultivate virtue, train talents, improve the ability to master science and technology, and promote digital transformation in the spirit of the resolutions of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense.

With the achievements, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan believes that the youth of the Central Military Commission will continue to affirm their role and position in the journey of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Army, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, State, and people.

Also within the framework of the program, the Political Department/General Staff organized the launching ceremony in response to the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, and inaugurated the BTTM Mobile Library in 2025.

The Mobile Library is a new model deployed from 2022, displaying nearly 1,200 valuable books, newspapers and documents, with the aim of bringing books closer to officers and soldiers in grassroots units, especially those stationed far from the center. According to the 2025 plan, the Mobile Library will be organized at 3 units of Brigade 144 including Battalion 4 (from March 26 to April 10), Battalion 2 (from April 10 to April 25) and Battalion 5 (from April 25 to May 10) and the New Soldier Training Company, the Military Ceremonial Corps (from March 28 to May 5).

In the program, many activities in response to the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day were launched with the theme "Together with books, entering the era of national development". The contents include: Thoroughly grasping the Prime Minister's decision on organizing Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, organizing exhibitions and introducing books on topics such as economics, politics, culture - society, law, national defense, security, military science and technology, traditional history of the nation, the Party and the Army.
