The patrol team of Thanh Tin Border Guard Station (Ha Giang, Vietnam) is led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Thai, Political Commissar, and the patrol team of Mang Dong Border Control Sub-station and Mang Dong Police Station (China) is led by Comrade Ha Thu Hong, Political Commissar.
The patrol force overcame difficulties in weather conditions and rugged terrain, checked border signs, and checked the safety of the Vietnam-China border marker system from marker 227 to marker 228, with a length of 2.5km.
As a result, the border and national border markers remained intact, and the border situation was safe. Residents on both sides of the border did not violate the law.

At the end of the patrol, the two sides signed a record of the results of the patrol, management and border protection work, organized experience sharing, proposed policies and solutions, and agreed on the time and number of troops for the next bilateral patrol.
This is an important activity of the two countries' functional forces to promptly detect violations of border regulations, resolve incidents occurring on the border, protect security and safety of the common border, and at the same time organize propaganda and dissemination of laws to residents on both sides of the border, in order to maintain stability, political security, and social order and safety in the areas on both sides of the border.
